Accommodation at Karoi Wildlife Reserve and Conference Centre consists of 10 African-styled, fully equipped twin bed en-suite chalets which are spacious and luxuriously furnished while still maintaining the feel of the natural bushveld. There are also three executive chalets with a lounge area and balcony, offering views of the mountainous surroundings.

We also have a secluded bushcamp ideally located with great views out onto the dam

Our professional game rangers offer game drives or walking excursions where guests can experience nature with Giraffe, Waterbuck, Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, Eland, Tsessebe, Nyala, Bushbuck, Reedbuck, Blesbuck, Gemsbuck, Impala, Red Hartebeest and numerous other antelope in their natural surroundings

Hot and sunny afternoons can be spent lazing around the sparkling pool.

The Badseloop River runs through the resort and there are four dams that are suitable for freshwater fishing.

The dams are host to over 175 indigenous bird species including kingfishers, bee eaters, plover, lourie, ducks and the fish eagle to name but a few.

Facilities

Facilities at Karoi ensure that we are able to accommodate 30 guests, and have conferencing for up to 60, depending on the layout. The nature of the lodge ensures a relaxed, private and informal conferencing experience with all your requirements taken care of in a professional and personal manner.

The spacious lodge has a tranquil thatched dining area, cozy bar and an intimate lounge with DSTV and a fireplace where you can enjoy heart warming drinks. Enjoy a cocktail from the open loft deck overlooking the floodlit waterhole, while enjoying the stunning views and quiet solitude of this private location. Enjoy candlelit boma dinners feasting on traditional cuisine around a bonfire under a clear, star-filled African sky. 

Guests are given the opportunity of enjoying a unique experience of having brunch or bush braai down by the river in our open air bush camp. The adventurous may opt to spend the night in one of the five two-sleeper thatched huts along the river. The bush camp has a self-catering kitchen, boma area and lapa with roaring fires and full toilet and shower facilities.
